In their own words
The government runs many welfare schemes to help people but due to lack of information and assistance eligible people remain deprived of the benefits.
62 year old shanti devi , who belongs to a very poor family , is working at people's homes to support her family. Recently , Shanti Devi lost her 31 year old son who was suffering from brain stroke for a long time. Her husband Shri Kamal ji also suffering from serious illness and is bedridden.
Today with the help of samutkarsh NGO , Shanti Devi has received her first pension. The generosity she has shown us is of immense value as she came to us to donate her first pension. We graciously accepted 1 Rs as a token of gratitude from her .
We have also applied for her husband who will soon start receiving pension hopefully.
